About Me

So, who am I?  I’m Dan Marashi.  I am a qualified personal trainer, a former Great Britain and professional ice hockey player, a former competitive bodybuilder, and a martial arts enthusiast.  Since 2010, I have been coaching busy people to transform their body, regain lost confidence, and feel full of energy.

 

Through my personalised coaching service, you will transform your body and your health in a way that fits with your hectic lifestyle.  I coach you to achieve lasting results in a way that is realistic and sustainable.

 

I help make exercise and healthy eating PART of your life – but certainly not for it to take over ALL of your life!  You don’t need the inconvenience of being in the gym and the kitchen for hours and hours each day!  That’s not fun, and not necessary.  Neither is cutting out the food your like, including junk food.  We’ll have you reaching your goals in a realistic way that fits with your lifestyle.

How my Personalised Coaching Service Works

1. We’ll start things off with a breakthrough call.  This is a short chat where we will discuss your goals and your lifestyle, so that together we will formulate a plan of action to get you to reaching those goals.

2. If after our breakthrough call, we both agree that we would be a good fit working together, then I will ask for a few more specific details from you.  This will help me formulate your custom program.  Things like your training schedule, the number of workouts per week, the length of each workout, and the exercise choices, will all be tailored based on your goals, current health and fitness levels, what equipment you have access to (if any!  You don’t necessarily have to have a gym membership!), your training experience, and your lifestyle.  You will be provided with clear and simple instructions and video demonstrations.

And if you are unsure of anything, I will talk things through further with you.  Don’t worry, I’ve got your back!

 

3.  Based on the foods you enjoy, and

considering your goals and body stats, I will put

together an eating structure for you with recipe

ideas and meal options.  It will fit to your

normal eating schedule, and it will provide your

body with the fuel it needs to lose fat, build

muscle, and perform at your best.

 

4. I will provide you with my app, so that you

can access your program from your phone,

wherever you are. You can also use the app to

track your progress, track your workouts, log

your food intake, and upload body stats and

progress pictures.  It also comes with a built-in messenger feature, so you can message me whenever you might have a question about anything.

 

5. We will have regular check-ins, the frequency of which will depend on which coaching package you would prefer.  Check-ins are either over the phone or via messenger.  During check in, I will keep you on track to reaching your goals. I will not just check in with you to simply adjust your training, or to adjust your nutrition targets or suggest improvements / modifications.  But I will also monitor, discuss, and help address other lifestyle factors, like daily activity levels, stress, sleep, soreness, energy levels, cravings, hunger, meal preparation, meal timing, meal ideas, weekly planning, and scheduling.
